Bogotá is an icon of bicycle use and promotion in the developing world, with over 600,000 daily bicycle trips and the world-famous Sunday Ciclovía. The study tour, held from April 7 to 11, will include a mix of presentations by experts, interactive workshops, and site visits, to help participants understand the successes and challenges of bicycle promotion in the city. The study tour will take place right after the World Bike Forum in Santiago, Chile. Despacio is therefore offering a free one-day session for tour participants attending the Forum.
