HWY 53 is pretty much an interstate, I would not ride a bicycle on it. I agree, go to the WISDOT site and you can download the maps by the county, PDF's, they are what I use as I ride around the state. If you have a smartphone, you can save them on it and zoom in and get a good view of the roads. Color-coded as to traffic volume.
Will do, thanks! I have all of my maps but won't hurt to check out the local ones. Don't mind swapping them out if they're better.
