If CitiBank loses interest in this program and no other organization, private or public takes its place as a financial sponsor, the NYC Bikes Share Program may face a reckoning.
Citibank has committed an additional $70.5 million through 2024, in addition to its original $41 million, so funding is reasonably secure.
