Decent middle of the road stuff- probably Exage level in Shimano or slightly better. Though the appearance is not my favorite, it's real solid performing and in build. I have a bike with that crankset. I stripped the paint and polished the aluminum. Looks very Euro- Mavic Starfish jr. if you will. I'm not sure what they were shooting for.
Rider is 5'4". Trek is too big by at least 3-4 cm.
