Hello everyone,

i will be building up a singlespeed Trek Crockett for this years upcoming Cross season. Thats right this season isn't even truly over and its time to start thinking about next year.

I currenly have a Trek Boone Cx1 hydro group that I race I decided to put together a aluminum Crockett singlespeed for this year as well. I figure if i am going to drive 1.5 hrs to a ride I might as well bring a singlespeed bike and race twice.

This is what i plan to build up


So that being said. The whole singlespeed thing is new to me so looking for suggestions. Looking for a pretty nice middle ground build, doesnt have to be the best but certainly not the cheap stuff. I am talking like top 75% quality niceness.

So what would you all recommend for:

• Crank
• Chain
• Rear cog
• chain ring gearing
• Disc brakes
• Wheels (likely just going to get another set of stans grail to be able to swap wheels easily between the two bikes if need be

Not concerned with suggestions for stem/handlebar/saddle/seatpost
