Most recently bought some cycling clothing, despite my skepticism -- although I'm still planning to avoid the boy racer looking stuff.
- Shimano Storm Jacket. Great windbreaker, warm enough down into the 30s with a long sleeve t-shirt weight jersey. Almost too warm above 60F. No idea about rain resistance yet, it hasn't rained recently. Should be a good walking casual rain jacket/windbreaker too.
- Pearl Izumi transfer baselayer. I was tired of the clammy-then-chilly cotton t-shirts this winter. After a week with the PI undershirt, I'm sold. It's all that and a biscuit. Very comfy.
- Louis Garneau Genesis jersey. Seems okay. Ultra-thin material, too cool this time of year to know how comfortable it'll be this summer. Feels a bit snaggy on my fingertips, but the material hasn't pilled up so far. Very casual look and fit, barely looks like a cycling jersey unless you notice the rear pockets.
I'll probably add a couple more Nashbar poly jerseys, which look casual rather than bikey.
