When compared to DI2 there are a few advantages that I see going for e-tap. Besides the obvious easy install I LOVE that the front and rear deraileur batterys are interchangable so that if the rear dies from being used more than the front you can simply swap the batteries front to rear and keep on going. I also like that firmware updates will be done by the consumer with a supplied dongle from their home computer.
