Unless it's a Mavic 8/9/10 speed freehub body. Mavic 8/9/10 speed freehub bodies have been wide enough for the current 11 speed Shimano/SRAM road cassettes all along (approx. 2mm wider than other brands' 8/9/10 speed freehub bodies).
Specifically, OP, which SRAM cassette are you trying to install?
