Yes, the idea is you want Grease that will not migrate or wash out.

Chevron has spent more money and time developing Extreme grease lubricants than any other company including boutique brands.
They simply make the best grease there is on the planet and this is it.

Chevron 238011C - Ultra-Duty Grease | O'Reilly Auto Parts

This stuff protects under pressures and stresses you could never put on a bike, it doesn't migrate and even resists heavy salt water spray. It holds up over time and will not break down.

I use this grease on trailer balls for heavy towing,as well as all my bikes.
The only reason to change it is contamination from road dirt.
It is much like a product called Bull Shot,If you have used that but it exceeds Mil specs other greases can't compare.
