You didn't!! You try being a disabled vet with a jacked up back and see how you fit a bike. At least I can still knock out over 8000 miles a year with a setup like that! I guess I could try and be cool, drop the bars 6 inches and then be lucky to get in 100 miles a year. Jeesh, the nerve of some people blaming the almighty Trek for the woes of it's owner.

Totally kidding of course (sorta...) but if you slammed one of my steel rides like that it would be on!
