Why such blind devotion to CF frames?
Pretty sure everyone(myself included)realizes the huge advantages and perceived value they have for a specific class of riders. Basically pro racers and even that is all relative.
The article simply pointed out the known downsides to CF and also poked some good fun at the freds who drop two months salary on a frame for no other reason than marketing. Ohh, and that 'snappy' feeling they get when climbing a small hill at 7 mph on their daily 17 mph ride.
If they could afford 700 hp Corvettes there would be 10k more of them on the roads just so they could have the capability to get to the store for their spandex and gel packs at 180 mph
