Okay. I know LoP has been kind of hinting at this for awhile with his talk of Tex-Mex, etc but now it is official. March 11th is my last day as a Produce Associate at the Battle Ground Walmart Supercenter and March 21st is the starting date for my new job as "Curriculum and Marketing Development" something. They didn't put a noun at the end of the so-called title so I'm not sure what's appropriate. LoP is way more excited than I am because he likes cold and snow and is generally more easy-going. I am sad to be leaving the people I've spent nearly two years building a store and community with- especially since they keep asking if I can still say "No" and commenting on how far apart we will soon be- and the more I look at the job description, the more frightened I become that I will get there and they will say "Well, you sure put one over on us. We thought you were this kind of person with these skills and actually you're a slightly less extreme version of the Lily Tomlin character in 'Grandma' and you have no idea what you're doing." This feeling of being an imposter is not helped by LoP having been morphed from "my boyfriend of nearly three years"- my words- to "your husband"- the director of the senior center's words. *sigh* And people in this forum expressed strong opinions that we should not move there and we have watched one season and part of another of "Longmire", which is supposed to be set in Wyoming- and it never seems to make it around to summer. But it must, right? Anyway, it's official.
