If you want good wheels but not a glitzy name, try these guys: Small batch cyclerySimpsonville and Frankfort Ky Bicycle shop

I own a set of their 38mm wheels with White Industries hubs. Service is great and the spoking is non-proprietary, i.e. you can true them like normal wheels. Not true with a lot of the newer carbon wheels.
