There is a guy out here that runs 50 tooth chainring and 13 tooth cog and does not have problems, he is a beast though for lack of better word. I have the parts laying around to build it up with 48x13, I though it might be fun. Thats all.

I can take the 15 tooth cog off of another bike and replace it with the 13. That would give me 48x15 on one bike and 40x13 on the other.
