It's fine! I live in SC, and sometimes it feels like nobody cares about bicycle infrastructure, but the more people riding, the better things will get! Macon isn't exactly the free for all atlanta is. Savanah is also terrific on two wheels. If cycling in th south was so bad, there wouldn't be a tour of Georgia every year.
