the basic A-frame design of the Strida is what I feel is so odd, compromising and limits it's viability. Modifying and customizing a Strida to better suit the rider seems to be quite an ordeal and limits how the bike can be used and the fact that the more you adjust the seat height to accommodate a taller rider, the more awkward the riding position becomes... which is great if you're into the ergos of a penny-farthing.
