Also, Clever Training says that you can use a V650 and pair it with a Phone to transmit data. I asked them directly. Here's my question followed by their reply.
Just to clarify, you are saying that I can pair the Polar V650 via bluetooth with my Android Phone running the Polar Flow app and it will use my phone to upload that data to Polar using it’s data connection?
Yes, that is correct. One of the guys in our office uses the Polar V650 and pairs his data the same way.
