Hey Guys,
I picked up this exact bike about a year ago...different color (black). There were some fixes my husband did. Goose-neck was messed up, chain-guard caved in. At any rate my husband loves tinkering with anything mechanical and made it ride-able for me. That said I do have a few questions since I'm new to riding...what upgrades if any? It does ride pretty well, but do to the skinny tires it doesn't have very good suspension. That said, I like the skinny for speed. Also there are a few steep hills where I live and I feel like forget about it with a 3 speed. Am I just not in good enough shape? or would some hybrid bike suit better? I really love the look and thought maybe some upgrades might fix some of the con's. I've been doing some reading on Vintage bikes and I'm finding that people are liking them, alot!
