Hi,

My apologies for crashing your party. I like the look of recumbents but my post today is on kids bikes. I was told that some recumbents take 24 inch tires (ISO 540) and I was looking for a recommendation for a good light one (down to 25mm diameter) and also WHERE to purchase them.

Also, the current tire says ISO 540 but I've read that some 540 tires are mislabeled and actually ISO 520! Is there a simple way to check if the rim diameter is 540 or 520? Unfortunately, its a no-name rim so I have no identifying information.
