I suspect not. I can't tell if my light is on or off with my SP PV8. And at this link: http://www.ctc.org.uk/file/public/fe...ub-dynamos.pdf They measured the drag on the PV8, at 20 km/hour with the light on, drag is equivalent to climbing 6 feet per mile, with the light off only climbing 1 foot per mile, see graph. So, with the light on it is equivalent to climbing a grade of about 0.12 percent, which is so flat that I would not be able to notice.
