IBO, thanks for that!

I've looked at the Powertap pedals. They're easy (easier) to move from bike to bike than the Garmin Vectors, except that they use a proprietary cleat. So, you have to have another set of shoes to use with those pedals, unless you want to swaps cleats around. Everything I have, except for the cross bike, is Look.

I've looked at the SRM. Money, money, money!

I've looked at Power 2 Max. Intriguing.

And, I've looked at Quarq. My teammate uses a Riken on her road bike, and she said it has been trouble free. Ex says 'avoid them". Still looking.

My Prius went in for a major service last week and it came out with a warning from the service manager that is has a "potentially serious" oil leak from the cam chain cover, and the repair will cost 11 man hours, or $1600. As I told Shovel, the power meter is now on hold.

Life, ya know?
