People. Not having the best of days and notice that I get left negative feedback on Ebay. Huh? I'm at 100% positive since 1998 with 1200 transactions.
Was selling a bike case a month ago. "Buyer pays actual shipping". Ebay screwed up the shipping cost, $150 v. $60. Part of that was on my end because of a error in the dimensions, but Ebay was wrong at any dimension. So I explain it to the guy, and send him a screen shot of the FedEx costs and options. He wants me to eat $50 of the shipping. On a $200 item. I tell him, no thank you and he gets nasty. I apologize, again, and cancel the transaction and give him a full refund.
And I quote: "slime ball backed out. I even tried to help with his shipping miscalculation".
By "help", I guess he means helping himself to $50.
Small potatoes. But annoying.
