Disagree completely, mostly because VV has done a number of dirt drop conversions already. This is somewhat a matter of personal taste and I personally found dirt drops to be quite wonderful in the woods. I think they are just as stable, if not more so, than flat bars. Certainly more comfortable.
I get what he is saying though.
I run Jones bars on my ECR and they are super hard to beat with loads.
I can ride the Fargo with a decent load at this point, but the Woodchippers felt funky to me initially.
The drops were at an odd angle and it took some getting used to.
