Bought new in about 1993 for commuting and kid transport. Recently sold. It replaced a another unit whose down tube broke after a few weeks.
For some stupid reason, I didn't go down to 170 when I replaced the cranks many years ago. Otherwise a nice, comfortable, bike, but I don't miss the weight.
