Marine grease is good if you do wet weather, it is made for that.
I use Mobil 1 synthetic grease, don't know if it is water proof, but I like a tub of it hanging around. Marine grease is hard to find in the tubs where i live, and i may just change over to that.
Edit: just checked mobil's web site and they claim: Withstands the effects of water washout from heavy rain storms or other high water wash events.
Anyone know if this synthetic grease equals marine grease?
