Lovely bike! I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Mercians... great lugwork and paint!

It does look good in a matching Campy group, although the original TA crank was a classy part too! The MAFAC centerpulls that the original owner used were pretty classic also, although that's a whole different sort of learning curve to tackle. The Campy brakes are easier to deal with.

No toe straps yet? If you didn't grow up with clips & straps, then I understand the reluctance to make that change. Some nice red Binda straps might look good, though.
