Look, the bike is at your service, not the other way around. If you want to change tires, change them to suit your needs. Don't stick reflexibly and limit yourself to what the manufacturer and marketing hype says is the niche or realm of the bike. You are in control. The only real limitation is the frame geometry. Everything else can be modded to suit one's needs.
