Yep, that part of the AS200v is kinda dumb. The AZ1 has it's charge port/USB on the back and is not affected by the mount.

Hiding the usb charge plug in that way was what determined me look elsewhere than Sony.
It removes the ability to either charge from a dynohub or utilise a cache battery.
