Boy, this bike is being knocked pretty hard!

Yeah, if you sell it, yank the tri bars off. But the bike is pretty solid looking and has good components.

There were 3 levels of road Exage and 3 levels of mountain Exage. I have 2 types of mountain Exage and they work great a quarter century after being made.
Motion was the entry level of Exage, but if its reliable, then its great to use still.

The 105 crank is excellent and looks nice.
And Ishiwata triple butted EX (exactus) tubing is really good stuff. I have a frame hanging right now made of that stuff waiting to be built. Its certainly tubing to show off.
I wouldn't say ishiwata triple butted EX is middle level tubing.

Id guess its 89-92, somewhere in there. Each component will have a 2 letter code stamped on it. Thats Shimano's way of dating components. Go to vintagetrek for the info on what each letter combo means.

Cleaned up and serviced, i would want $250 for it around me.
