depends on your skill level and willingness to suffer. maybe 6/10 compared to a mountain bike. I regularly ride my CX bike with 35mm tubeless tires on some pretty rough singletrack, lots of rocks. it forces me to slow down and pick my lines very carefully. there are some trails I would not even touch on this bike though. so long as you're not dealing with constant log-overs and gnarly rock gardens, it will work. or you can traverse the terrain like that in true CX style and carry the bike through the rough.

a 50t ring is pretty big for riding trails with any sort of technical stuff. you won't use it on the trails but you might use it on roads and paths.
