I would advocate not. Schwinn one-piece doubles work great, they have a shift ramp pressed into the outer ring and the chain guard is big enough to keep your shoelaces out of the derailleur, and the kickstand is far superior to any bolt-on I've ever used.
Gosh, writing this is making me miss my Super Sport. :/
