I rode sew-ups for 30 years...Changed to clinchers about 5 years ago....Nothing beats the suppleness of tubulars, but clinchers are so much more economical...I'd go with clinchers(Unless you have so many wheelsets that you can use the sew-ups only for special events). BTW, the Masi GC is just about my all time favorite bike...I've always loved them!
