I finished the overhaul of mine Saturday night! Went the 11 miles into work on it this morning without a single problem. It's good to have her together again. No problems with the cotters loosening up on me. My only fight was a bit of a stiff headwind. I really love the Wald folding basket...as you can see, it fits a backpack just about perfectly (which helps to also hold a water bottle, bc I currently don't have a bottle cage!) Having finished the bottom bracket and front hub, as well as [MENTION=152773]noglider[/MENTION] confirming to not do anything with the rear except periodically add oil gave me some good peace of mind. The headset was done about a month ago. Thanks all for the advice and guidance as it was needed! Hopefully she's good for another 35 years (though...I'll give her periodic maintenance as needed).
