Funny story, earlier today one of the eagles returned to the nest with some tree bark. The sitting eagle picked it up briefly then put it back down and looked around as if to say "Is that all you got"?

A minute later the sitting eagle arose and flew off. The new arrival started trying to feed the eaglets with some old dried up piece of leftover crap that was laying around in the nest, before finally sitting on the nest.

I was just imagining the arrival eagle was the male, bringing home something stupid and useless, while mom had to get up off the nest and go find the squirrel to bring back and feed the family. I can just hear her now muttering "Jackass"!!
