Ah. So just get some new deraileurs and shifters, and keep the crank / cassette? Sorry to be dense, but I've only ever mucked with the drivetrain on one bike, and that was a complete frame-up rebuild with all 105s (except for some Paul canti brakes).

The Deore or LX stuff should be fine and should work with the 7 speed stuff you have. As for the Rnyo's there a nice medium weight & cost wheels.
