I guess the pedals are in okay shape. Everything seems to work okay except I cannot seem to find first gear, it seems to be lost?

I need a period type saddle bag to fill that space back there. Brakes work fine, steel rims seem fairly true though I did order the recommended aluminum wheels. Is there a suitable spoke? These spoke seem to be okay but have a lot of oxidation on the galvanizing.

What are these really for, just a hood ornament I assume?

It has a Wichita city bike license decal on the seat tube. Apparently from circa 1978, you can see it in the photo above, right lower seat tube. I wonder how to get that dried up thing off of there. I have my usual ideas but I am not sure if MPK/Toluene/Acetone/plastic scrapper/heat gun/etc. will attack this ancient paint. What kind of paint is this on these old bikes. Is it a two part paint or a single part lacquer?

I have this little dynamo light and I have the dynamo as well. But I am missing the attach clamp for the light itself. The outfit does work. I think it is period correct---? Hmm, a clamp, whatever shall I do?
