One unexpected benefit of buying from that shop is that I learned to install and remove my own pedals (Vector). I just didn't believe the numbers coming out of them so I learned to do it myself. Looks like that's going to be the story with the FD too.

Yours took a fight to get into the big ring too? Glad to hear it isn't just me. I'm used to 52x39 and this is a 50x34 so being stuck in the little ring is no fun!
