I was quoted an approximate $150-200 for the frame and fork at the particular shop I chose, inclusive of all stripping of old paint and prep work. That was for a two coat finish, either a base and a color, or a color and a clear coat, depending on the materials I choose (to be determined when I drop the bike off and go through their catalogs). The shop came recommended from a BF member who had used them in the past, and the couple other shops I called were all in a similar range, but this one has experience in doing bicycle frames.
I'll definitely have a thread with the results, one of the things I racked my brain over was exactly how much PC ruins the lug lines that is often stated, but rarely backed up with photographic evidence. They're running a two week turnaround right now, so hopefully I'll have results to show by mid April.
