There is also the issue of 1" headset compatibility, mentioned above by Sir Sheldon, rip. I had thought at one time that they were all the same, but not so. I have a lugged steel, 90s Pinarello, HiTen frame that had a narrower head tube ID. I could have reamed the head tube, but found a compatible headset (early CK).

But you are not changing headsets - so no headset issue, right?
