Yeah, when I first started looking for an older road bike last spring, I went by the online calculators that told me I should have been more in the 52cm/21" frame size range. After looking at a few, it was painfully obvious there just wasn't the top tube length on the smaller bikes, and I found that a bigger frame with the seat way down fit my leg almost perfectly while giving me the room up top.

This is how I have the Le Tour setup, and it is the bike that gets ridden by far the most by me.
