Actually read an article the other day about the time change. Apparently auto accidents increase by 6% during the week following the spring change.
And the same study found that accidents decrease by about the same amount in the fall. So overall there was no significant difference between states that observe daylight saving time and those that don't.
I think China has the right idea. A single time zone for the entire country. After all, the government knows what's best for us.
