I have been using one of those for a number of years. Actually on my second set, the first set the buckle broke in sub zero weather after a half dozen years or so. I really like it. I do not use cycle specific shirts or jackets, and since I commute every day, it easily goes over any shirt I am wearing that day. I have also tried the t shirts with reflective stripes made for construction workers but they were just not comfortable (hot) While these suspenders can get hot, you can loosen them up on the hot days such that they do not flap in the wind but allow enough ventilation to work.
