I say go for it. I picked up a R265 myself recently. Still not the holy grail yet for me. It rides really comfortable for the most part but for me if they could put a fork on it with more compliance on rough surfaces I'd be happy. I find a couple of my old steel bikes ride nicer on the front end and I think it's due to the compliance of those wonderful old curved steel forks.
