I enjoy working on things, even when I get in over my head. It becomes a challenge, to see if I can figure things out, at least enough to fix the problem. But some "small jobs" can be terribly frustrating, like when you repack a hub, and decide you really ought to change the mildly worn axle cones, then find out you tweaked the spacing pretty good, and need to redo it all, once or twice. But it beats being bored silly, I guess.
