Tires make a large difference in how a bike feels but having said that tires are also a wear item and the high performance tires usually considered for mentioned wheels are not meant to last for more then a few thousand miles or a season any ways. so next year (or before if you wish0 you can pick a different brand/model and start the process of actually learning what you do or don't like.
My preferences for road use are Michelin and Conti, others will disagree. Andy
