Don't look at it like "you're stuck with it", lets hope you'll settle in to the new ride and things will improve. Have you ever considered a cross bike? Can you fit some knobbie's on there? It could be a bike with many roles, on/off road, trainer, bad weather days, etc... Not a total loss by any means.
