I used to have two Moulton F-frame bikes, the ones with ISO 349 wheels, and still have one (which I mean to sell soon). They are comfortable, but I do find them twitchy. I don't think he got the fork geometry quite right on these.

But on the subject of tires versus suspension, it's interesting to note that Raleigh opted for plush tires for the RSW-16, the model they introduced in 1965 to compete with Moulton's F-frame line. 16 x 2 tires that look remarkably like Hetres:
