Hi. I am looking to buy a Dahon Espresso 2005 for my daily commute from park and ride to work and back. I have found one for £50 it looks to be in good condition but the seller has stated to fold it it is stiff and creaks a bit. Otherwise fine. I am struggling to find any information on this bike as I guess it is quite old and I am on a very tight budget and want a full size bike so I could go out with my young daughter with it for a leisurely cycle in the park. Has anyone come across the folding to be stiff and managed to repair it or would I be looking at a new frame so not worth it. I can look at the bike tonight but I am the kind of person that sees then oh I'll fix it later but that could be a big mistake if it can't be fixed. Appreciate any help.
