I think those are rusty steel cranks, and I think I can see cotters. They may have an aluminum alloy spider.

Well, I sort of meant to say Corvallis Craig's List and this was where it was found.

When one looks at vintage cycling posters of French bike ads, Terrot shows up. This looks really good if they still have it after a month.

Albany is not far from Corvallis, I said that since we are a national forum, I just said Corvallis so no one would get confused because Albany New York is much more famous.

I've gotten to where I don't really like to travel far unless it really has my curiosity.

Some places are getting fairly good delivery services by van for these kinds of transactions, it exists in the UK. It's a bit of a hassle to be chasing bikes I know.
