And this is ultimately why I search on P*G*T instead of PEUGEOT or F*J* instead of FUJI

Speaking of Peugeot, there's this 70s UE8 for $125 right now in the ATL area. https://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/bik/5515757378.html

Looks to be all original, front light is busted and rear light looks like a replacement, round knobs are broken off the brake levers (typical). Otherwise looks fairly decent.
I always have troubles spelling Peugeot, and often confirm the spelling before posting anything. It does throw off those searching for a bike though.

So far, no response on that one I found though. The ad is still up, so I'm still hoping, even though it is in a tough location to get to.

I've never been happy with E-Bay's decision to no longer support the wildcards, and am not certain their search function is all that stable as is. I often try to put common variants using a comma which was supposed to work as an "or" function, although sometimes I get fewer results rather than more.

Craigslist does use the "|" for the "or", and seems to work very well.

Getting the spelling wrong does really do a number on the search engines.
